Thinking Big

May 23, 2017 by dmo Leave a Comment

“Don’t let the dazzling heights you aspire to scare you from getting started.               Climbing Higher

After all, few could climb Mt. Everest tomorrow, though virtually all could begin preparing.

Those with vertigo shouldn’t apply! If thinking BIG scares you, well it is supposed to. IF it doesn’t, then the mountain you are trying to climb isn’t tall enough. You need to dream so big that it can make you tremble in your sleep. This is what you need to aim for. This feeling might not be the greatest because of fear of falling and hurting yourself badly, but guess what? If you limit yourself, you wouldn’t have the opportunity to experience such greatness and accomplishment. God put you in this planet because He KNOWS your potential. You are designed to think big, to learn, change and grow! Do not disappoint him by dreaming small.

The world is at your fingertip and you can do everything you put your mind into. Your life waits to create what you see around you based on your thoughts and dreams. Because of the nature of your grand thoughts, you allow opportunities  to open a gate of possibilities so it can serve you and bring in what your mind created. Never underestimate your power because of the fear from within. Keep thinking big!  Fear will try creating balance within your thought process and NOT allow dreaming or thinking that big because you can’t believe that it is possible. You create limits that aren’t there in reality, but built from within you.

Human Nature Isn’t Thinking Big

Human nature works this way and it is difficult to train your mind to think otherwise. So keep thinking big! However, with the proper vision, and motivation you can remove these fears and project a new perspective from within your mind and allow yourself to appreciate life and take advantage of everything it has to offer. When you start realizing that whatever you do or don’t do, some things will happen to you that will be out of your control. You can’t control every outcome but your thoughts can alleviate the gravity of a problem if it has to occur.

Let’s look at this as a negotiation perspective with your own self. When you try to sell a car, you place an ad in the paper and try selling it as its full value, probably much higher than what it is worth, because you know there will be negotiation as for the final selling price. If you go too low, you will receive a lower amount than what you originally expected. So you aim high. Do the same with your dreams. Aim as high as you can because the end result of realizing your actual dreams or goals would end up being higher than what you would ever expected. Others will be out there trying to bring you down, so why not think big until you actually get there.

Work Like An Ant

(This Post is Borrowed from (Proverbs of Wisdom.com)

Proverbs 6: 6 Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! (NIV)

Now I have done this I put rocks around an ant hill. I sat and watched what they did. (I know you already guessed it). They went over, around, below, the rocks until they got to the other side. They did not stop and curse it (at least I didn’t hear them) , or give up. They just kept moving until they got to the other side. I know I am mean at times. But I put more rocks in front of other ants. You know what they did the same thing.

What if we were that focused on our goals! What if we were so clear on where we are going that we don’t even get bothered by it. What if we just “kept on stepping”? When we set a time to work on our goals. we need to act like the ant.

Get that mental picture of the ant just running along singing “Ant no stoppin’ us now!” I know how the song goes but we can change it to plant a new photo in our mind!

You can’t beat the person who won’t give up! Babe Ruth

Accountability Partners Accountable Results

Accountable to Leader

Standing Accountable

Be Accountable

You may ask who do I have to be accountable to? Most of us run with the idea I can do it on my own. We often think that way because the people that helped us get to this place in time, are not standing on the forefront of our minds. When we are willing to admit it we will find that we are here because of lots of hard work of others. Often times we also find if we are really wanting to grow we need to find others who want to grow with us, this will not just double our efforts, but it will quadruple our results.

The book Powers of Two shows great teams that have changed history. Steve Job and Steve Wozniak, John Lennon and Paul McCartney, JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis, on and on.  It also debunks the myth that the one in the spotlight did it all alone.. In our society we have created an arena that praises the lone wolf, the one who “did it my way”. (even though I really like that song) We have to realize that it takes a team to build a dream.

We need to make something bigger than ourselves. Being accountable to someone else often pushes us to do more than we would have done alone. Even if that person is not right there with us, due to the internet, they can be on the other side of the world and the other side of the clock, yet still be there to check in with us. Did you do what it took today, here is what I did, I knew you were counting on me to do my part! That type of thinking is what will make ip2w.com work for you, when you use our 21/90 plans. We do not want you to do them alone, we offer Accountability Packs, where two will get them for the price of one.

Taking a New Perspective

November 23, 2016 by dmo Leave a Comment

Taking a New Perspective

The other day a person asked me to help them help another person to get their keys out of their locked car. Afterwards I started thinking about perspective.

Have you ever done that, locked your keys in your car? Most newer cars have alarms, will not lock it or have some type of device in them that will not let you leave the keys inside. Still in the olden days I have done it plenty of times. I would look inside to see if I could see them. are they in the ignition , on the passenger seat, on the dash, or in the floor. I mean I would do all this thinking if they can’t be seen by me then I don’t have to worry about them until later. Because others will not see them either. I would say to myself let me check my pockets again. Now just because I could not see them didn’t mean that they were not in there right? Also, it did not mean that just because I couldn’t get in the one door or window , that I couldn’t get in another. It was all a matter of perspective.

We Can Change Our Perspective

When we play to win there will be situations that we will face. We must be willing to take a new perspective. We must be willing to look at things from a new position. When we look at situations from the same place, we will never have the opportunities to grow into a new awareness. That would bring answers that we would have never found. We must be willing to ask others for advice, ask for help, stop and think instead of just reacting as we always have done before. Be willing to step outside of the problem asking ourselves questions solutions based. Don’t be focusing on what is wrong with this, but what possibilities are in front of us.

Change your perspective for the next 10 days, then think about it. If nothing else it will give you a bit more understanding of others around you. Maybe it will even help you to see how to reach others. It could help you to remove the chains that have you stuck in one place for so long. Maybe just by taking a different view you will find a different You.

How do you see it?

How do you see it?

Who wants to Win?

November 22, 2016 by dmo Leave a Comment

Check Success

So Win!

It all comes down to what you really want to do: win or lose. The prize always has a price. Are we willing to pay it? Success always comes with the payment of sacrifice in the following areas. Time, money, and energy. A combination is needed of the three. When we lack one the cost for it is the other two sometimes in mass quantities. Are we willing to pay that price to win the prize. A willingness to go beyond our limits ones self imposed and ones others have tried to dump upon us. Will we persist until we have our victory or will we just give up.

Mindset to Win

One thing that decides if we will win or not is our mindset. We must be willing to have a growth mindset, one that looks for the lesson to be learned, or the answers to the right questions. Often times we need to keep asking questions not just for the answers that they bring, but so we can find the right questions to get the answer from. When we have a growth mind set we know that work has to be done. A growth mindset seeks out solutions, possibilities, and opportunists.

Sometimes we are looking for one answer when in fact we find a solution for a totally different problem. We have to be smart enough to know that there are times when what we thought we wanted was the wrong thing for us. A fixed mindset results in blaming, excuses, and trying to push rivals out of the picture. Growth comes from openness, a willingness to learn from everyone, and making changes.

So winning is a choice. I am not blind to circumstances, they sometimes are just there to let us see what is really inside of us. They test us, they grow us, and they stretch us to become the person that was hidden inside of us. Pushing past the set backs will give use strength to lift our self off the floor when we hit the wall.

Do You Play To Win?

October 5, 2016 by dmo Leave a Comment

Why do you play to win?

When do you play to win?

How do you play to win?

How will you win today?

I know it takes a team to build a dream. What is needed though is for each person to buy into that dream. They need to see a way for them to win. This site is not about being a selfish person who will win at all cost. It is about deciding a cost that is worth paying then going for your dreams.
